A New Joe's Experience

The corner of 47th and Mission has always been the starting line for Joe’s KC BBQ and its owners Jeff & Joy Stehney. Living in the area allowed them to find their first gas station and turn it into the iconic Kansas City landmark.

As Joe’s established roots in the community, the Stehneys always had their eye on another gas station. Across the street from the original Joe’s, at 500 County Line Road, lies a former Conoco gas station. It was the perfect spot to create a new place that focused on their community and neighborhood.

Joe’s Next Door is a hangout for the neighborhood.  Created for date nights under the KC sky, or weekend game days when you want the whole crew together.  The menu goes beyond BBQ, but you can always order the famous Z-Man and fries.
